Mr. Paul C. Gracey, Jr. has been Senior Vice President, General Counsel and Secretary, Nicor Inc. and Nicor Gas since 2006. Mr. Gracey joined Nicor in 2002. He brings 20 years of legal experience, primarily in the energy field. Prior to joining Nicor, Mr. Gracey was most recently Vice President and General Counsel for Midwest Generation in Chicago and prior to that he was Vice President and General Counsel for Edison Mission Energy Ltd. in London, England. He earned a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, with distinction, from the University of Michigan in 1981 and a Juris Doctor, cum laude, from the University of California, Hastings College of Law in 1985. Mr. Gracey also completed the Oxford senior executive finance programme at Templeton College, Oxford, England in 1998. Mr. Gracey is admitted to practice law in California and Illinois. He is a member of the American Society of Corporate Secretaries, the Association of Corporate Counsel, and the American Gas Association, Legal Committee.
