People: Compagnie Generale de Geophysique Veritas SA (GEPH.PA)

Mr. Robert Brunck has been Chairman of the Board and Member of the Executive Committee at Compagne Generale de Geophysique Veritas (CGG Veritas) since July 1, 2010. He has been Chairman and Managing Director (CEO) of the Company since May 20, 1999. He is also Chairman of the Company's Strategy Committee and Technology Committee. Mr. Brunck was Vice Chairman and Managing Director from September 1998 to May 1999 and was Managing Director from February 1995 to September 1998. He joined the Company in 1985 and was Vice President of Administration and Development from 1991 to 1995 and Director of Finance and Legal Affairs from 1989 to 1991. Prior to joining CGG Veritas, he was Director of Production and Transport at EDF from 1979 to 1985 and he also worked as a senior civil servant. Mr. Brunck currently serves as Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Sercel Holding S.A., Chairman of the Board of Directors of CGG Americas, Director of Thales, Director of the Ecole Nationale Superieure de Geologie, Director of the Bureau of Geological and Mining Research, Director of the Conservatoire National des Arts et Metiers, and Director of the Groupement des Entreprises Parapetrolieres et Paragazieres. Mr. Brunck graduated from Ecole Polytechnique in 1969 and Ecole Nationale Superieure des Miones de Paris in 1974.
