Mr. David L. Deisley is Executive Vice President - Corporate Affairs of Goldcorp Inc. He is no longer General Counsel of the Company effective February 27, 2013. Mr. Deisley joined Goldcorp in September 2007 as Vice President, General Counsel. On July 8, 2010, Mr. Deisley was appointed Executive Vice President, Corporate Affairs and General Counsel of Goldcorp. Previously, he served as regional general counsel for Barrick Gold Corporation’s North America Region in Salt Lake City, Utah. Mr. Deisley was also based in Santiago, Chile for three years working with Barrick Gold Corporation on its Pascua Lama and Veladero projects. Prior to joining Barrick Gold Corporation, he was a shareholder at Parsons Behle & Latimer where he served as a member and chair of the firm’s Natural Resources practice. He obtained his Juris Doctor from the University of Utah College of Law and his Bachelor of Arts from Brown University. Mr. Deisley has over 25 years experience in the mining industry in North and South America.
