Mr. Christian V. Kuhlen has served as Vice President, General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of Genoptix, Inc since September 2007. Prior to joining Genoptix, Dr. Kuhlen was an attorney in private practice as an associate with Cooley Godward Kronish LLP from October 2004 to September 2007. Between August 1997 and May 2004, Dr. Kuhlen was a full-time graduate student. From October 1995 to July 1997, Dr. Kuhlen was a research assistant at The Scripps Research Institute in La Jolla, California, where he studied the pathogenesis of the hepatitis B and hepatitis C viruses. He holds a B.S. in biochemistry and cell biology and a B.A. in economics from the University of California, San Diego and a J.D. and M.D. from the University of Southern California.
