Bryant, Kevin 

Mr. Kevin E. Bryant is Vice President - Strategic Planning of the Company and KCP&L, and President, KLT, a subsidiary of the Great Plains Energy, Inc. He is responsible for leading the company's corporate strategy and risk management areas. Since joining KCP&L in 2003, Mr. Bryant has held a number of positions that have drawn on his strategic insight and finance/marketing experience, including senior financial analyst; manager, Corporate Finance; vice president, Energy Solutions; and, most recently, vice president of Strategy and Risk Management. In this role, Mr. Bryant supported the development of KCP&L’s strategic plan and led several resource planning initiatives, including the pursuit of new wind resource capacity in western Kansas. As vice president, Energy Solutions, he collaborated with customers on innovative energy solutions and developed several popular e-service and customer programs, including demand side and energy efficiency initiatives. A graduate of the University of Missouri-Columbia, Mr. Bryant has dual majors in finance and real estate. He received a master’s degree in business administration with an emphasis in finance and marketing from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business. Mr. Bryant has extensive experience in strategic planning and financial areas, including analysis, cash management, financial models and mergers and acquisitions. While at THQ Inc., a California-based worldwide developer and publisher of interactive entertainment software, Mr. Bryant served as manager, Strategic Planning, where he was responsible for identifying corporate goals and developing the company’s three-year plan. As a corporate finance analyst for what is now UBS Paine Webber, Mr. Bryant worked on mergers and acquisitions for medium- and large-sized companies. He also worked at Hallmark Cards as a financial analyst.
