David J. Osborne became Hawaiian's Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer on May 16, 2005 and was promoted to Executive Vice President and Chief Information Officer on November 1, 2006. Prior to that, he spent 20 years developing and consulting on complex global information distribution systems for banks and financial services firms while based in New York City. He was most recently managing director/CIO for the investment companies at the Bank of New York and, before that, was managing Director/CIO within the global markets division of Deutsche Bank responsible for its electronic distribution platforms. Previously he was the chief technology officer and senior vice president for Plural/Dell Global Services, a technology consulting company. Mr. Osborne studied in the United Kingdom at the University of Aston in Birmingham, and at Charles Keene University in Leicester.
