Mr. Richard W. Neu is Independent Director of Huntington Bancshares Inc. Mr. Neu has been chairman of the board of the Washington, D.C.-based MCG Capital Corp. (NASDAQ: MCGC) since 2009, and served as chief executive officer from October 2011 to November 2012. MCG is a publicly traded business development corporation providing financing to middle market companies throughout the United States. He first joined the MCG board in 2007 and has served as a member of the audit, nominating and corporate governance, and valuation and investment committees. Mr. Neu has served on the board of the Dollar Thrifty Automotive Group (NYSE: DTG) since 2006 and as the lead director since December 2011. He served as chairman of the board from November 2010 to December 2011. He previously served as chairman of the audit committee and is a member of the corporate governance committee. From 1995 to 2004, Mr. Neu served as executive vice president, chief financial officer, treasurer, and director of both Charter One Financial, Inc. and Charter One Bank. He assumed this role following the merger of First Federal of Michigan and Charter One Financial, Inc. Mr. Neu joined First Federal of Michigan in 1985 as chief financial officer, and was elected to the board of directors in 1992.
