People: Ener1, Inc. (HEV.O)

Thomas J. Snyder has been elected to the board of Directors of Ener1, Inc since July 2007. He serves on the Governance and Nomination Committee of the board of directors. Mr. Snyder served as the president from 1994 and the chief executive officer from 2000 through 2006 of Remy International in Anderson, Indiana. Mr. Snyder led the management buyout of Delco Remy from General Motors in 1994. Since July 2007, he has served as the president of Ivy Tech Community College of Indiana, a mid-west educational institution with over 100,000 enrolled students. Mr. Snyder graduated from Kettering University with a degree in mechanical engineering and holds a master’s degree in business administration from Indiana University.
