Mr. Roderick M. Sherwood, III, is Independent Director of Dot Hill Systems Corp. Mr. Sherwood has served as Chairman of Multivision Media International, LLC since January 2012. Mr. Sherwood served as President and Chief Financial Officer of Westwood One, Inc., a radio and TV content provider and broadcasting company, from 2008 to November 2011. From 2005 to 2008, Mr. Sherwood served as Chief Financial Officer, Operations for The Gores Group, LLC, a private equity firm. From 2002 until 2005, Mr. Sherwood was Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Gateway, Inc. where he was responsible for corporate financial operations, processes and controls, treasury activities and cost reduction programs. He was also integrally involved in Gateway’s acquisition of eMachines. Prior to his tenure with Gateway, Mr. Sherwood was Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Opsware, Inc. (formerly Loudcloud, Inc.). Mr. Sherwood has over 25 years of experience in financial and operations capacities for companies such as Chrysler Corporation and Hughes Electronics Corporation. Mr. Sherwood received his MBA degree from Harvard Business School and holds an Honors Bachelor of Arts Degree, with Distinction, in Economics from Stanford University.
