Brief Biography
Mr. William A. Paulette is Independent Director of Hampton Roads Bankshares Inc. Mr. Paulette was a director of Gateway Bank and Trust Co. until its merger with the Company on December 31, 2008 and was a director of Bank of Richmond from 1998 to 2007. He has served on the board of Virginia Military Institute since 2003. He is founder, President, and CEO of KBS, Inc., a construction firm based in Richmond, Virginia. He is responsible for the general management of KBS including its financial success. Mr. Paulette brings substantial knowledge of the construction business and the Richmond market.
