Mr. W. Christopher Beeler, Jr., is a Lead Independent Director of Hooker Furniture Corporation. He has been a director since 1993 and has served as lead independent director since April 2011. He is the Chairman and Director of Virginia Mirror Company, Inc. and Virginia Glass Products Corporation, both of which manufacture and fabricate architectural glass products, and served as Chairman, President and CEO of those companies from July 2000 until August 2011. He served on the board of directors and as a member of the audit committee of BB&T of Virginia (a wholly owned subsidiary of BB&T Corporation) from 1999-2006 and is a certified public accountant licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
