Bruce W. Duncan is Chairman of the Board of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., since May 2005. He has been President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of First Industrial Realty Trust, Inc. since January 2009, prior to which time he was a private investor since January 2006. From April to September 2007, Mr. Duncan served as Chief Executive Officer of the Company on an interim basis. He also has been a senior advisor to Kohlberg Kravis & Roberts & Co. from July 2008 to January 2009. From May 2005 to December 2005, Mr. Duncan was Chief Executive Officer and Trustee of Equity Residential (“EQR”), a publicly traded apartment company. From January 2003 to May 2005, he was President and Trustee of EQR. Mr. Duncan has served as a Director of the Company since April 1999, and was a Trustee of Starwood Hotels & Resorts, a real estate investment trust and former subsidiary of the Company (the “Trust”), since August 1995.
