Mr. John J. Sutherland is a Director of International Absorbents Inc., since August 1988. Mr. Sutherland has been a Certified General Accountant since 1976. He joined Atomic Minerals Ltd. as director in December 2007, a company engaged in mining exploration and development and listed on the TSX Venture Exchange (“TSX-V”); since June 2007 Mr. Sutherland has been a director of Polo Biology Global Group Corporation (formerly Amicus Capital Corp, a capital pool company), a manufacturer specializing in probiotic and enzyme-based health and beauty products and listed on the TSX-V; in October 2007 Mr. Sutherland joined Silex Ventures Ltd., a capital pool company listed on the TSX-V, as a director; and in May 2007 Mr. Sutherland joined Uracan Resources, a uranium exploration company listed on the TSX-V, as its chief financial officer and corporate secretary, and became a director of Uracan Resources in April 2009. Mr. Sutherland has been a vice president and chief financial officer of Goldgroup Resources Inc. since February 2007, a private company involved in the exploration and development of mining properties and focused in Mexico. From January 2007 to September 2008, Mr. Sutherland served as a director and the president of Cyprium Resources Inc., a company engaged in mining and exploration listed on the Over the Counter Bulletin Board. From March 2003 to September 2006, Mr. Sutherland was vice president and director of Tekion, Inc., a private company developing and marketing fuel cells. Since 2002, Mr. Sutherland has been a director of Aquiline Resources Ltd. a publicly-held company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange (“TSX”), and a director/trustee of Polymer Solutions, Inc. (“PSI”), a former publicly-held company that sold all of its assets effective as of February 2004 and is liquidating following such sale.
