Silver, Joel 

Brief Biography

Mr. Joel Silver is Director of Indigo Books and Music Inc., with effect from April 19, 2011. Mr. Silver leads Trilogy Growth, a partnership with Trilogy Retail Enterprises LP, the majority shareholder of Indigo. Trilogy Growth makes direct investments in innovative retail, online and media companies. Prior to this, Mr. Silver served as President of Indigo, driving the growth and profitability of the core print business, guiding the launch and development of the kids’ toy business, significantly expanding the lifestyle business, as well as spearheading IndigoGreen, a key initiative, for which the Company has won several awards. Mr. Silver began his career at Procter & Gamble and co-founded Salesdriver, a web-based company sold to Carlson in 2002. Mr. Silver holds an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
