Mr. Brian Sweeney is Senior Vice President - Global Sales of IHS Inc., since October 2011, with full responsibility for IHS global sales strategy, operations, and execution for all products and services, managing field sales, inside sales, and channel sales across the full breadth of IHS customer relationships. Prior to joining IHS, Mr. Sweeney served as Vice President-America Software & Solutions for Hewlett-Packard since 2009. From 2005 to 2009 he served as Senior Vice President-US Commercial Federal & Legal Markets for LexisNexis and from 2003 to 2005 he served as Group Vice President, North American Strategic Accounts for Oracle. Mr. Sweeney has also held sales leadership positions with Siebel Systems and IBM. Mr. Sweeney holds a bachelor’s degree in marketing from Eastern Illinois University.
