Mr. Jarman has been Commissioner of PT Indosat Tbk since 2008. He started his career as Deputy Assistant of Energy Application Division at the Republic of Indonesia's Ministry of State Owned Enterprises, then assigned to Strategic Industries Application and Telecommunication Division of the Republic of Indonesia's Ministry of State Owned Enterprises, became Commissioner for PT Industri Sandang Nusantara (Persero) and Chief Commissioner at PT Tambang Batubara Buki Asam Tbk, before joining PT Indosat Tbk's Board of Commissioner. He graduated with Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering from Universitas Indonesia, Indonesia, and earned a Master of Science degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institue, the United States.
