Mr. Kleber Silva is Executive Vice President, Head of Iron Ore, Mining, and a Member of Management Committee of ArcelorMittal SA. He was previously general manager of mining operations in Brazil. Prior to joining the Group in 2006, he held the same position at the Brazilian mining company CVRD. From 1997 to 1999 Mr. Silva was mine planning and operations specialist at Quebec Cartier Mining Company in Canada, which has become part of the ArcelorMittal group. Mr. Silva holds a degree in mining engineering from Universidade Federal de Ouro Preto, and a master’s in mining from the Ecole des Mines de Paris.
