Williams, Ronald 

Mr. Ronald A. Williams has been appointed as an Independent Director of Johnson & Johnson. He joined the Board of Directors in 2011 and is a member of the Compensation & Benefits Committee and the Regulatory, Compliance & Government Affairs Committee. Mr. Williams served as Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Aetna Inc. (managed care and health insurance) from 2006 to 2010, and as Chairman from 2010 until his retirement in April 2011. He currently serves on President Obama’s Management Advisory Board, which is helping to bring the best of business practices to the management and operation of federal government. He is also an advisor to the private equity firm, Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, LLC, and serves as Lead Director of the board of Envision Healthcare Holdings, Inc. Mr. Williams also serves as Chairman of the Board of Clayton, Dubilier & Rice, LLC’s portfolio companies, PharMedium Healthcare Corporation and Healogics, Inc. In addition, Mr. Williams also serves on the board of MIT Corporation, Peterson Institute for International Economics and on the Advisory Board of Peterson Center on Healthcare. Previously, Mr. Williams served as Chairman of the Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare from 2007 to 2010 and Vice Chairman of The Business Council from 2008 to 2010.
