Mr. Robert E. Alderson is President, Chief Executive Officer, Director of Kirkland's Inc. He has been a Director of Kirkland’s since September 1986 and has been Chief Executive Officer of Kirkland’s since February 2006. He also served as Chief Executive Officer of Kirkland’s from March 2001 to May 2005. He currently serves as President of Kirkland’s, and he also served as President from February 2006 to March 2006 and as President from November 1997 to May 2005. He served as Chief Operating Officer of Kirkland’s from November 1997 through March 2001 and as Senior Vice President of Kirkland’s since joining in 1986 through November 1997. He also served as Chief Administrative Officer of Kirkland’s from 1986 to 1997. Prior to joining Kirkland’s, Mr. Alderson was a senior partner at the law firm of Menzies, Rainey, Kizer & Alderson.
