Mr. Bandel L. Carano is Independent Director of Kratos Defense & Security Solutions, Inc. He originally served as a director from August 1998 to June 2001 and re-joined Board in October 2001. Since 1987, he has been a managing partner of Oak Investment Partners, a multi-stage venture capital firm. Mr. Carano also serves on the Investment Advisory Board of the Stanford Engineering Venture Fund, the board of directors of Airspan Networks, Inc. and NeoPhotonics Corporation, and the board of directors of numerous private companies. Mr. Carano holds a B.S. and an M.S. in Electrical Engineering from Stanford University.
