Mr. Baudouin Prot has served as an Independent Director at Lafarge SA as of May 12, 2011. He is also Member of the Strategy, Investment and Sustainable Development Committee and Member of the Corporate Government and Nominations Committee of the Company. After graduating from the French business school HEC in 1972 and from ENA in 1976, Mr. Prot joined the French Ministry of Finance where he stayed for four years. In May 2000, he was appointed Director and Chief Operating Officer of BNP Paribas, and became Director and Chief Executive Officer of the bank in May 2003.
