Brief Biography
Mr. Gary C. Kelly has served as Chairman of the Board of Southwest Airlines Co. since May 2008, as President since July 2008, and as Chief Executive Officer since July 2004. Mr. Kelly also served as Southwest’s Executive Vice President & Chief Financial Officer from June 2001 to July 2004 and as its Vice President Finance & Chief Financial Officer from 1989 to 2001. Mr. Kelly joined Southwest in 1986 as its Controller.
