Dr. Rudolf Fauss has been Member of the Supervisory Board and Employee Representative at Lanxess AG since March 14, 2005. Additionally, he acts as Member of the Audit Committee of the Company. Dr. Fauss worked in research, production, staff and project work in various sectors of the Bayer Group and also spent four years in Texas, the United States, in connection with the acquisition of Polysar. He is Head of Central Functions in the Human Resources Group Function, Chairman of the LANXESS AG Group Managerial Employees' Committee and Chairman of the LANXESS Managerial Employees' Committee. Dr. Fauss also serves as Member of the Supervisory Board at LANXESS Deutschland GmbH. Dr. Fauss gained a Doctorate in Chemistry at Technische Universitaet Wien.
