Ms. Joyce M. Roche is Independent Director of Macy's Inc., since February 2006. Ms. Roche was the President and Chief Executive Officer of Girls Incorporated, a national non-profit research, education and advocacy organization from September 2000 through May 2010. Prior to assuming her position at Girls Incorporated, Ms. Roche was an independent marketing consultant from 1998 to August 2000. She served as President and Chief Operating Officer of Carson, Inc. from 1996 to 1998, and also held senior marketing positions with Carson, Inc., Revlon, Inc. and Avon, Inc. Ms. Roche is a former director of Anheuser-Busch Companies, Inc. (until 2008). She is currently also a member of the boards of directors of AT&T, Inc., Dr. Pepper Snapple Group and Tupperware Corporation.
