Mr. Stephen Shefsky is Independent Vice Chairman of the Board of Morumbi Resources Inc. Mr. Shefsky is also the co-founder of Brasoil do Brasil Exploracao Petrolifera S.A., a private oil and gas producing and exploration company operating in Brazil since 2006. Mr. Shefsky was the founder of Silver Bear Resources Inc. ("Silver Bear") (TSX:SBR). Mr. Shefsky has also been the President and Chief Executive Officer of Cancap Investments Limited, a private merchant bank providing venture capital and project financing for private and public companies, since 1985. He is involved in strategic planning and corporate development of its investee companies in the mineral resources sector. From 1996 to August 2007, Mr. Shefsky previously held the positions of the President and Chief Executive Officer of Verena Minerals Corporation (TSXV:VML), a minerals exploration company with a focus on precious metal properties in Brazil. Mr. Shefsky is also the Executive Chairman and a director of Castle Resources Inc. (TSXV:CRI) ("Castle") since February 2008 and March 2007, respectively. Mr. Shefsky holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Toronto, a Master of Science Degree in Urban Planning from Columbia University and a Juris Doctor Degree from Pepperdine University School of Law.
