Mr. Oliver D. Kingsley, Jr., is no longer Independent Director of NextEra Energy Inc., effective May 23, 2013. He is retired, and currently serves as Associate Dean for Special Projects at the Samuel Ginn College of Engineering at Auburn University. Prior to his retirement, Mr. Kingsley served from February 2002 to November 2004 as president and chief operating officer of Exelon Corporation, an integrated utility company, and as president and chief executive officer of Exelon’s subsidiary, Exelon Generation. Before his service in those positions, Mr. Kingsley served as president and chief nuclear officer of Exelon Nuclear from October 2000 to February 2002. Mr. Kingsley was a director of The Babcock & Wilcox Company from its July 2010 spin-off from McDermott International, Inc. until May 2011 and was a director of McDermott International, Inc. from 2004 until July 2010.
