Mr. Linwood A. Lacy, Jr., is Lead Independent Director of Netgear Inc., since April 2006. Mr. Lacy has served as one of the directors since September 2002. Mr. Lacy is a private investor. Having served as Chief Executive Officer of two public companies and a member of the board of directors of several technology companies, Mr. Lacy's extensive experience in these positions, including managing large organizations during periods of significant growth, is helpful in understanding marketplace requirements.
