Mr. John M. Bauer serves as an Independent Director of Northwest Bancshares Inc. He is co-founder and partner of Contact Technologies, Inc., an electrical component manufacturer in St. Marys, Pennsylvania, where he also served as President from 1999 through 2008. In 2008 he assumed the role of Co-Chairman of the company. Prior to starting his own business, Mr. Bauer served as the Director of Finance for the Stackpole Corporation, where he oversaw the corporate finance and accounting areas. He holds a BBA degree in accounting from St. Bonaventure University.
