Dr. Samir Zraick serves as an Independent Member of the Board of Directors of OGX Petroleo e Gas Participacoes SA. He worked at Companhia Vale do Rio Doce, from 1971 to 1975, as General Manager for Systems. He was Vice President at Rio Doce America, from 1975 to 1979, and Member of the Board of Directors of Chairman do Marketing Committee of Quebec Cartier Mining Co - QCM, from 1990 to 1999. He has been Member of the Board of Directors of Embraer since March 2008. He graduated in Engineering from Pontificia Universidade Catolica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-Rio) in 1964, gained a Master's in Electrical Engineering from Technische Universiteit Delft in 1966 and a in Philosophy from the Universite de Paris in 1970.
