Mr. Lars Boilesen has been Chief Executive Officer of Opera Software ASA since January 2010. He was previously Chief Commercial Officer of the Company between 2009 and January 2010, Member of the Board of Directors of the Company between 2009 and June 2009 and Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing of the Company between 2000 and 2005. He has sales and business development experience from the global information technology and telecommunications industries. He has held executive positions in various corporations including Alcatel-Lucent where he was Chief Executive Officer for the Nordics and the Baltics. He also headed the Northern Europe and Asia Pacific markets for Tandberg Data. He started his career at Lego Group.
