People: L'Oreal SA (OREP.PA)

Ms. Brigitte Liberman has served as President of the Active Cosmetics Division and Member of the Executive Committee of L'Oreal SA since January 2007. Ms. Liberman began her career as a representative for Henkel in 1980 before joining the company's marketing department. In 1986, she joined L’Oreal SA through Laboratoires Goupil before spending four years as Marketing Director for Biotherm International then moving to Vichy International, the brand in the Active Cosmetics Division. In 2001, she was appointed General Manager, Active Cosmetics France and Benelux, a position involving operational responsibilities. Ms. Liberman participated in setting up a joint venture between L'Oreal SA and Nestle under the name Laboratoires Inneov. In 2004, she became General Manager for Laboratoires Vichy worldwide. She graduated from Ecole Superieure de Commerce in Rouen in 1980.
