People: Petroleum Geo-Services ASA (PGS.OL)

Mr. Daniel (Dan) J. Piette has been Independent Member of the Board of Directors of Petroleum Geo-Services ASA since 2007. He also serves as Member of the Company's Audit Committee. He also serves as is Executive Chairman of TerraSpark Geosciences. Mr. Piette previously was Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Member of the Board of Directors at Object Reservoir. Formerly he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of OpenSpirit Corporation from 2003 to 2011. His other executive positions within the Oil and Gas industry include Business Unit Manager for Land Acquisition Systems Group at Input/Output, President and CEO of Bell Geospace, and Vice President and General Manager of the Asia Pacific region for Landmark Graphics. Mr. Piette holds a Bachelor of Science degree with honors in Mining Engineering from the University of Wisconsin in Madison (1980).
