Mr. Surjeet Singh is Patni Computer Systems Limited's Chief Financial Officer and Chief of Operations (CFOO), with responsibility for Finance and Global Operations. As CFO, he is responsible for overall financial management of the company including financial reporting, internal controls, treasury, tax management and compliances on a global basis. As Chief of Operations, Mr. Singh oversees internal systems, talent acquisition and supply chain operations besides global infrastructure. Before his appointment as CFO of Patni in 2006, Mr. Singh headed Mergers & Acquisitions at Patni and prior to this he was the CFO at Cymbal Corporation – a services company focused on Communications Service Providers, which he co-founded and was acquired by Patni in late 2004. In all, Mr. Singh has around two decades of multi-industry global experience holding senior management positions in guiding finance, business planning and global supply chain functions. He has a successful track record of building finance as a key business enabler, and fostering collaboration in large and mid-sized culturally diverse, global and matrixed organizations. Mr. Singh holds a B.S in Finance and Accounting from the University of Pune and is a fellow of the Institute of Costs and Works Accountants, India; in addition to being a certified public accountant from AICPA, USA.
