Mr. Maurice Levy has served as Chairman of the Management Board, Chief Executive Officer and Member of the Executive Committee of Publicis Groupe SA since November 27, 1987. He joined the Company in 1971 and was resposible for data processing and information technology systems. He was successively appointed General Secretary in 1973, Managing Director in 1977 and Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Publicis Conseil in 1981. He became Vice Chairman in 1986 and Chairman of the Management Board in 1988. He holds a number of other positions, including Chairman of the Supervisory Board at Iris Capital Management, Member of the Supervisory Board of Compagnie Financiere Edmond de Rothschild Banque SA and Director of MMS USA Holdings, Inc., ZenithOptimedia Group Limited and MMS USA Investments, Inc, amongst others.
