Richard J. Thompson is President, Chief Executive Officer and Director of Power One, Inc. Mr. Thompson joined the Comapny as Chief Executive Officer in February 2008. Before joining the Company, Mr. Thompson served as a member of the Company's Board of Directors since August 2007. Mr. Thompson serves on the Board of Directors, but he resigned as a member of the audit committee of the Board of Directors effective upon his becoming an employee of the Company. Mr. Thompson served as Senior Vice President, Finance and Chief Financial Officer of American Power Conversion Corporation (acquired by Schneider Electric in February 2007). Prior to joining American Power Conversion Corporation, Mr. Thompson served as Chief Financial Officer, Secretary and Treasurer of Artesyn Technologies for fifteen years. Prior to joining American Power Conversion Corporation, Mr. Thompson served as Chief Financial Officer, Secretary and Treasurer of Artesyn Technologies for fifteen years. Mr. Thompson earned his BBA from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas.
