Mr. Ira D. Hall is Independent Director of Praxair Inc. He is former President & Chief Executive Officer of Utendahl Capital Management, L.P. (an asset management company) from 2002 through 2004. From 1999 to 2001, Mr. Hall served as Treasurer of Texaco Inc., and from 1998 to 1999, he was General Manager, Alliance Management of Texaco Inc. Prior to joining Texaco, Mr. Hall held several positions with International Business Machines. Mr. Hall is the past chairman of the board of the Executive Leadership Council. He is a trustee emeritus of Stanford University, and is a board member and past Treasurer of the Jackie Robinson Foundation. During 2010, he completed twelve years of service on the Dean’s Advisory Council of the Stanford Graduate School of Business. During the past five years he was also a director of The Pepsi Bottling Group Inc., The Reynolds & Reynolds Company and Imagistics International, Inc. (where he served on the Audit Committee of each company and was Chairman of the Compensation Committee of The Pepsi Bottling Group Inc. and Chairman of the Audit Committee of Imagistics International, Inc.), and Ameriprise Financial Inc.
