Cameron Nelson serves as Chief Financial Officer and Vice President - Finance of QLT Inc. since August 10, 2005. He joined the Company in May 2000 as Associate Director, Financial Analysis and Planning and has made many contributions during his time with the Company. He was promoted to Director of Financial Analysis and Planning in January 2002 and later to Senior Director, Financial Reporting and Planning. In April 15, 2005, he was promoted to Vice President - Finance and Acting Chief Financial Officer. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Nelson held finance and accounting positions with Mattel Inc. and Equity Marketing Inc. in Los Angeles. Mr. Nelson earned his Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia and his Master of Business Administration from Dartmouth College.
