Brief Biography

Mr. Edward S. Rogers has been appointed as Deputy Chairman of the Board of Rogers Communications Inc. He is Director of Rogers Communications Inc. since May 1997. Mr. Rogers served as Senior Vice President - Communications Group and President, Rogers Cable Communications Inc. Mr. Rogers worked for Comcast Corporation, Philadelphia from 1993 to 1996. He served as Vice President and General Manager, Paging, Data and Emerging Technologies of Rogers Wireless Inc. from 1996 to 1998; Vice President and General Manager, GTA of Rogers Cable Inc. from 1998 to 2000; and Senior Vice-President, Planning and Strategy of the Corporation from 2000 to 2002. Mr. Rogers is the Honourary Co-Founding Chairperson of the OneXOne Foundation and is a board member of the Toronto SickKids Foundation. Mr. Rogers holds a Bachelor of Arts University of Western Ontario.
