Mr. Satish Reddy is Executive Vice Chairman of the Board, Chief Operating Officer, Managing Director of Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories Limited. He has been appointed as Executive Vice Chairman of the Board of the Company effective March 30, 2013. He joined Dr. Reddy’s in 1993 as Executive Director. He played an instrumental role in the company’s transition from a bulk drugs manufacturer to a global player in the branded generics space by spearheading the Company’s entry into emerging markets. Satish steers Dr. Reddy’s Pharmaceutical Services and Active Ingredients (PSAI) and Global Generics businesses, two of the company’s core revenue generating streams. In 1997, he was appointed Managing Director.He graduated in Chemical Engineering from Osmania University, Hyderabad, and holds a Masters in Medicinal Chemistry from Purdue University, USA.
