Dr. William L. George is Director of Ramtron International since August 2005. From July 2007 until his retirement in September 2008, Dr. George served as Executive Vice President, Manufacturing Services, of ON Semiconductor, a supplier of performance power solutions. From August 1999 until June 2007, Dr. George served as Executive Vice President of Operations for ON Semiconductor. Dr. George received a B.S. degree in Metallurgical Engineering from the University of Oklahoma and a Ph.D. in Materials Science from Purdue University. Dr. George is a director of Silicon Image, Inc. (SIMG), a public company that designs and develops mixed-signal integrated circuits, and is a director of Power Integrations, Inc. (POWI), a public company that is a supplier of high voltage analog circuits for power management in line driven applications.
