Mr. Michael John Barnes is Non-Executive Independent Director of Sportech PLC. He was appointed Non-executive Director in November 2005. John has over 40 years’ of consumer brand and leisure industry experience across senior marketing and general management positions in the USA and Europe with international corporations such as Procter & Gamble and PepsiCo and smaller entrepreneurial companies both privately and publically owned. John was named AIM Non-executive Director of the Year in the Sunday Times/KBC Peel Hunt Non-executive Director Awards 2006. He is currently a Non-executive Director of Interior Services Group PLC and a Director of The Local Pantry Ltd and Widebarn Ltd.
