Mr. Ivan Ivanovich Zima serves as Member of the Management Board and Vice President - Chief Technology at Rostelekom OAO. He was appointed Vice President - Chief Technology at the Company on January 23, 2012. In April 2011, he was appointed Director of Department for Planning and Communication Network Development, and in the end of June 2011, Managing Director - Director for Planning and Communication Network Development at the Company. From 1989 to June 1994, he worked at Irkutsk State Technical University (ISTU). Between June 1994 and February 1998, he acted as Head of Automatization Sector of YAKUTIIPROALMAZ. From June 1998 to March 2003, he served as Lead Engineer of PPL Exploitation, Deputy Head of TUSM-8 at the Far Eastern Branch of Rostelekom OAO. In March 2003, he was appointed Director of Tu-5 of Central Branch of Rostelekom OAO. In 1994, he graduated from the Faculty of Cybernetics of Irkutsk State Technical University (ISTU), with a specialization in Radio-technology. In 2002, he gained a degree in Enterprise Management and Economics from Siberian State University of Telecommunications and Information Sciences, and in 2004, an MBA from Moscow Technical University of Communications and Informatics.
