Brief Biography
Mr. Albert F. Appleton is Independent Director of Revett Minerals Inc., since June 16, 2010. He serves as Chairman of the Environmental Committee. Mr. Appleton has been an international environmental and public finance consultant since 2005. From 1994 to 2005, Mr. Appleton was a Senior Fellow of Infrastructure at the New York City Regional Plan Association and from 1990 to 1993 he was Commissioner of the New York City Department of Environmental Protection and Director of the New York City Water and Sewer System, where he was noted for his innovations in watershed protection, water conservation and water resource management and finance. Mr. Appleton is a graduate of Gonzaga University and Yale Law School..
