Mr. Werner Bischoff has been Member of the Supervisory Board and Employee Representative at RWE AG since April 13, 2006. He is Former Member of the Main Executive Board of IG Bergbau. He is Member of the Board of Continental AG, Evonik Industries AG, RWE Dea AG, RWE Power AG and Chairman of THS TreuHandStelle fuer Bergmannswohnstaetten im rheinisch- westfaelischen Steinkohlenbezirk GmbH. He is Member of the Mediation Committee and Audit Committee at the Company. Between 1965 and 1969 he was Engraver at Ruhrglas in Essen. From 1970 to 1990 he was Secretary of IG Chemie, Papier, Keramik. Between 1990 and 1996 he acted as District Manager at IG Chemie, Papier, Keramik, Nordrhein-Westfalen (North Rhine-Westphalia, NRW). Between June 1995 and June 2005 Mr. Bischoff served as Member of NRW parliament. From 1976 to 1999 he was Member of Monheim City Council and parliamentary party leader of the SPD (Sozialdemokratische Partei Deutschlands, Social Democratic Party of Germany) in the Council. From 1996 till 2009 he was Member of the Main Executive Board of IG Chemie, Papier, Keramik (today's IG Bergbau, Chemie, Energie).
