Mr. Jean-Paul Jainsky was appointed as Member of the Executive Committee and Vice President for European and International Relations at Safran SA effective on July 1, 2013. He previously served at the Company as Member of the Executive Committee, Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Morpho. A graduate of Ecole Nationale Superieure d'Arts et Metiers (1975), he started his career with SAT (Societe Anonyme de Telecommunications), where he held several positions in the mechanical manufacturing division, before being named Head of Production at the Poitiers plant in 1988. He joined the Company in 1994, , being named director of Sagem's Montlucon and Poitiers plants. In 1998, he was named Vice President, in charge of the Security business, then Vice President, Production and Operations in the Automobile division in 2001. Mr. Jainsky was appointed to the Management Committee in 2002, and became Head of the Security division. When Sagem Defense Securite was created in 2005, he was named Executive Vice President and Head of the Security Division, then Chairman of the Board and Chief Executive Officer of Sagem Securite (which became Morpho) in 2007.
