People: Safran SA (SAF.PA)

Mr. Marc Ventre has served as Deputy Chief Executive Officer in charge of Commercial and Industrial Operations and Member of the Executive Committee at Safran SA since April 21, 2011. He was Deputy Chief Executive Officer of Aerospace Propulsion & Spatial Branch of the Company from 2006 until April 21, 2011 and Member of Management Board of the Company from July 29, 2009 until April 21, 2011. He worked for Snecma in 1976. From 1979 to 1980, he worked for General Electric Aircraft Engines, where he represented Snecma in the development of motor CFM56. From 1981 to 1988, he was in charge of quality of Snecma de Gennevilliers factory. Currently, he is Director of Techspace Aero, Permanent Representative of Safran on the Board of Arianespace SA and Arianespace Participation, among others. Mr. Marc Ventre is a graduate of Ecole Centrale de Paris and holds a Master of Science from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Additionally to his current duties at the Company, he acts as Director at Techspace Aero (Belgium), as well as Permanent representative of Safran on the Board of Directors of Snecma, Turbomeca, Aircelle, Herakles, Labinal, Hispano-Suiza and Messier-Bugatti-Dowty. He is also Member of the Supervisory Board at Radiall and Director at Nexcelle, LLC.
