Mr. Maceo K. Sloan serves as Independent Director of SCANA Corp., since 1997. Mr. Sloan is Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer of Sloan Financial Group, Inc., a financial holding company, and Chairman, Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer of both NCM Capital Management Group, Inc., and NCM Capital Advisers, Inc., investment management companies, in Durham, North Carolina. He has held these positions for more than five years. Mr. Sloan has been the Principal Officer of the NCM Capital Investment Trust since 2007. From 2009 to 2012, Mr. Sloan was Chairman of, and since 1991 has served as a Trustee of, the College Retirement Equities Fund (CREF) Board of Trustees. Mr. Sloan served as Chairman of the Board of M&F Bancorp, Inc., and as a director of its subsidiary, Mechanics and Farmers Bank, in Durham, North Carolina, from June 2005 until December 2008.
