Ms. Whitson has served as Senior Vice President — Human Resources of SandRidge Energy Inc. since September 2006. Ms. Whitson was the Vice President — Human Resources for Chesapeake Energy Corporation through August 2006, where she held human resources management positions of increasing responsibility for more than eight years. She attended Oklahoma State University and received a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Central Oklahoma in 1996. Certified as a Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Ms. Whitson is a graduate of Leadership Oklahoma City Class XXIV and currently serves as a member of the board of directors for the YWCA of Oklahoma City.
