Mr. Jack Africk is an Independent Chairman Emeritus of Tanger Factory Outlet Centers Inc., since January 1, 2013. He is Director of the Company since June 4, 1993. Previously served as Interim Non-Executive Chairman or Non-Executive Chairman of the Board from September 1, 2009 to December 31, 2012. Managing Partner of Evolution Partners, LLC, a consulting company, since June 1993. Mr. Africk previously served as a Director, from October 1997 to December 31, 2012, and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, from April 2007 to December 31, 2012, of North Atlantic Trading Company, Inc. (referred to as “NATC”), which, through its subsidiaries, manufactures, distributes and markets tobacco products. Mr. Africk previously served as Director, from October 1997 to December 31, 2012, and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors, President and Chief Executive Officer, from April 2007 to December 31, 2012, of North Atlantic Holding Company, Inc. (referred to as “NAHC”), the corporate parent of NATC. Mr. Africk previously served as President and Chief Operating Officer of both NATC and NAHC from January 1998 to December 1998.
