Mr. David A. Galloway is Independent Director of Scripps Networks Interactive, Inc. He is President and Chief Executive Officer of Torstar Corporation (a media company listed on the Toronto Stock Exchange) from 1988 until his retirement in May 2002. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School. Mr. Galloway is a director of Toromont Industries (a Caterpillar machinery dealer and gas compression company). He was previously a director of Bank of Montreal, Shell Canada, Cognos Inc. and Abitibi Consolidated. He was chair of Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto from 2002-2005 and on the board for thirteen years.
